Worship From The Threshing Floor
A threshing floor is the place where sheaves of wheat are brought in and trampled on, in order to release the useful grain from the worthless chaff. Boaz & Ruth's story unfolds on one, King David bought one to build an altar on and his son, King Solomon, built his first temple on it's site. The imagery is used in the Old testament for God's dealings with His people as well as a symbol of blessing and abundance.
